Products

We describe our Products as accurately as possible; colours and appearance may vary slightly from images. Our sun protection wear is rated UPF 50+. This reduces UV exposure to covered skin but does not replace sunscreen on exposed skin or other sun-safe measures, and fabric performance may reduce with wear and washing. All Products are subject to availability.

Prices & Payment

Prices are in ZAR. Sta-Cool is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on our Products. Payment is processed securely through Shopify; we do not store your card details. If we spot a pricing error, we will contact you to confirm or cancel the order. Delivery costs are shown at checkout.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm or dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, out of stock, pricing error or suspected fraud) and will refund anything already paid.

Delivery

We ship within South Africa and to selected international destinations per our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates. Risk passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once payment is received in full. International duties and taxes are your responsibility.

Returns & Refunds

As an online purchase, you may cancel and return unused Products within 7 days of receipt under section 44 of ECTA (you cover return shipping). Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act for defective or misdescribed Products are unaffected. Returns are otherwise handled in line with our Returns Policy. Items must be unworn, unwashed and in original condition. Refunds go to your original payment method. To start a return, email stacy@stacoolbasics.com with your order number.

Intellectual Property

The Sta-Cool name, logos, designs, product imagery, and the GO WILD characters and range are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce or commercially use any of it without our written permission.

Wholesale

Wholesale and B2B orders are governed by separate written terms, which take precedence for those transactions.

Acceptable Use

Do not use the website unlawfully, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorised access, or infringe our or others' intellectual property.

Privacy

We process your personal information under POPIA, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Liability

We provide all warranties required under the Consumer Protection Act. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, the website and Products are provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. You use Products at your own risk and should follow all care and usage instructions.

Changes

We may update these Terms; the current version is always on the website. The Terms applying to your order are those in force when you place it.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by South African law, subject to your Consumer Protection Act rights. Please raise any complaint with us first at stacy@stacoolbasics.com.
